Urban Accents has debuted its USDA Organic Certified product line: Chili Starter Seasonings. The line includes three chili blends that enable the home cook to change their chili routine by adding just a few fresh ingredients. The line features Mesquite Steakhouse, Jalapeño Chile Verde and Savory Pumpkin Spice Chili Starter Seasonings.

The Mesquite Steakhouse Chili Starter Seasoning is a mildly smoky classic chili flavor to simmer with cubed steak or ground beef for a rustic campfire essence.

For a spicy green twist, the Jalapeño Chile Verde Chili Starter Seasoning combines the spice of jalapeños and chili peppers with smoky cumin and a hint of citrus that pairs great with ground or shredded chicken.

Savory Pumpkin Spice Chili Starter Seasoning features on-trend pumpkin spice profile with chili pepper, cumin, onion and garlic that with the addition of pumpkin puree, beef or turkey, and beans creates a comforting chili great for any time of year.

The Urban Accents facility was certified organic in Fall 2015. The introduction of the Chili Starters marks the first Urban Accents branded product line with the USDA Organic certification seal.

“Today the grocery and specialty food customer is extremely interested in the source of their food and driving the demand of organic ingredients,” says Tom Knibbs, Urban Accents president and mixmaster. “We are proud to announce our organic certification and with excitement launch our Chili Starters as the first of many organic seasonings to come from Urban Accents.”

Each package of Organic Chili Starter Seasoning prepares eight servings of chili and will be available in grocery and specialty food stores nationwide.
