Winn-Dixie Stores and the Mayo Clinic have launched an online initiative designed to expand the health and wellness resources available on the retailer's website. Consumers visiting www.winn-dixie.com will find health-related information and special recipes.

Additionally, a different health topic will be featured online each month, as well as in the stores and advertising circulars. “Helping people live healthier lives is something Winn-Dixie is committed to, so this is a logical partnership for us,” said Anthony Agresta, Winn-Dixie's director of electronic and customer marketing.

The Jacksonville division of the Mayo Clinic opened in 1986 and is currently home to a hospital, an outpatient clinic, research facilities and special services. For November, the content on the Winn-Dixie/Mayo section of the website focused on diabetes care and prevention, featuring articles, links and recipes.
