VP OF BAKERY OPERATIONS DOROTHY LANE MARKET
A seasoned retail bakery expert, Scott Fox has been a driving force in elevating in-store bakeries throughout his 36-year career. A member of Dorothy Lane Market (DLM) since 1996, Fox began as an apprentice, eventually taking classes at the American Institute of Baking. After working in wholesale production bakeries, he transitioned to a retail bake shop and went on to the University of Akron in Ohio, where he was executive pastry chef until joining DLM in 1996. A certified artisan bread maker by the Bread Bakers Guild in France, Fox has developed DLM’s Killer Brownies into a cult classic among fans around the country.

What inspires your leadership approach?
I believe servant leadership is the most successful and self-rewarding approach.
What do you cherish most about being a part of the grocery business?
Having the opportunity to have known and worked with so many wonderful people over the years. It’s been both fun and challenging to create a wonderful customer experience while sustaining growth and profitability for our company.
