What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Working with my team. It’s truly an honor to be able to help develop and nurture creative talent. I’ve always believed I could achieve my dreams, and it’s a privilege to help others achieve their dreams.
What inspires your leadership approach?
My leadership approach is inspired by five core values: honesty, integrity, consistency, development and mutual respect. By following these core values, we create an uplifting culture [in which] our employees can thrive. [A quote from Richard Branson also comes to mind:] “A company’s employees are its greatest asset and your people are your product.”
What do you value most about being a part of the grocery business?
Serving our community is what I value most about this industry. There is a great responsibility that comes with providing a community service. From being a part of our customers’ most cherished celebrations to being a trusted beacon in the face of uncertainty, the grocery industry provides a service like none other, and I’m proud to be a small part of it.
Favorite food?
French macarons.
