Ahold Hires Dwyer, Michel, Slater to Fill EVP Posts

QUINCY, Mass. — Stop & Shop/Giant-Landover here yesterday said it has named three people to executive vice president posts. Jim Dwyer, formerly president of Tropicana Products North America, was named EVP of strategy and business development, overseeing marketing, corporate brands, store format development, pharmacy, strategic planning and online delivery service Peapod. He also will be chief business-development officer for Ahold USA. Robin Michel, who most recently had been group vice president of procurement and merchandising at Roundy's Supermarkets, was named EVP and general manager of Giant-Landover. Jeff Slater, who was named EVP of people, most recently had been a senior human resources executive at Dunkin' Brands.
