AWG, Supervalu, Wegmans and Wal-Mart Get Data Sync Awards
Excellence in Data Synchronization Awards were presented to five food distributors at the U Connect Conference last week.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Excellence in Data Synchronization Awards were presented to five food distributors at the U Connect Conference here last week. Associated Wholesale Grocers received the Silver Award for retailers synchronizing product data with at least 200 suppliers. Supervalu was given the Gold Award for retailers synchronizing data with 500-999 suppliers. Wal-Mart Stores, Wegmans Food Markets and Lowe’s received the Platinum Award for retailers synchronizing data with 1,000 or more suppliers. McLane received the Rapid Adoption Award for tier 1 companies with over $1 billion in sales. Ahold, Schnuck Markets and Supervalu were among those receiving recognition as Pioneers in Price Synchronization. The awards were sponsored by Food Marketing Institute, Grocery Manufacturers Association, American Hardware Manufacturers Association and the Alcoholic Beverage Industry Electronic Commerce Council.
