NEW YORK — Mark Kaiser, who pled guilty to fraud charges relating to the 2003 accounting scandal at Ahold's former U.S. Foodservice division, was sentenced to 46 months in prison, federal officials here said this week.

Kaiser and two other former U.S. Foodservice executives were indicted in 2004 for their roles in reporting inflated financial results at U.S. Foodservice between 2000 and 2003. Kaiser was previously found guilty and sentenced to seven years in prison in 2007, but appealed the decision claiming prosecutors withheld some evidence. He pled guilty earlier this year to fewer charges.
