Kroger, Columbus Workers Reach Tentative Agreement

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kroger Co. has reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with more than 11,000 unionized workers at 87 stores here, the Cincinnati-based retailer said Wednesday. United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1059 will present the agreement to its members later this week, the union said. If approved by union membership, the contract would replace a current deal set to expire in November.
