CINCINNATI — Kroger Co. is promoting cell phone-based coupons on its website. Kroger has partnered with mobile coupon service provider Cellfire to provide a free service that allows users to access exclusive coupons from their phone or PC and link them directly to their loyalty cards.

Users who register for the service at kroger.com browse and save the coupons and enter their loyalty card number. The coupons are then redeemed once the product is purchased with the loyalty card.

Current offers include 50 cents off Cottonelle toilet tissue; $1.50 off Huggies diapers; $1 off Milk-Bone dog biscuits; and 55 cents off Hamburger Helper.
