Kroger Co. said it would hold interviews next week for job seekers interested in manager positions at stores in North Carolina's Research Triangle.

Kroger's Mid-Atlantic division said it has scheduled a hiring event from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 10 at the Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh/Crabtree Valley, Raleigh, N.C.

“We have approximately 10 openings for management jobs in our stores in the Triangle,” Allison McGee, spokesperson for the division, said in a statement. “Kroger offers competitive pay, excellent benefits and the opportunity for career advancement.”

Kroger said candidates should apply online before the event by visiting jobs.kroger.com. Type in “Co-Manager” in the keyword section and then select North Carolina. Applicants should bring copies of their résumé to the event. Appointments are not needed. Kroger said applicants should possess an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or comparable retail management experience.
