SpartanNash Selects Symphony EYC G.O.L.D. Data Management

Symphony EYC, a global leader in delivering ROI for retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers using customer insights to drive execution, announced that Grand Rapid, Mich.-based SpartanNash Company, one of the nation’s largest grocery distributors, has selected the Symphony EYC G.O.L.D. Master Data Management (MDM) Suite to centralize data management operations and support the recent merger between Spartan Stores and Nash Finch Company. “SpartanNash Company selected G.O.L.D. as a long-term strategic technology investment based on the functional capabilities of the Data Management Suite and the Symphony EYC staff’s deep domain knowledge of the grocery business and its practices,” says Dave Couch, vice president of IT and CIO for SpartanNash. “SpartanNash Company continues to improve its services and offerings to its clients. As such, we needed to select a business partner with vision and an agile, competitive system, which will allow us to streamline our business processes, and who offers a grocery-centric roadmap for our future needs.” With Symphony EYC G.O.L.D., SpartanNash Company expects to integrate its operations, centralize data management and more quickly and efficiently bring the two companies together. “When SpartanNash completes the implementation of the Symphony EYC G.O.L.D.
