LUBBOCK, Texas — United Supermarkets has upgraded the websites of its three banners, United Supermarkets, Market Street and Amigos United, via a new partnership with MyWebGrocer and ePharmacy.
New features include streamlined prescription refills, interactive weekly circulars by store location, online catering orders, gift card purchases, floral orders, video cooking tutorials and in-store promotions.
Over the past year, United Supermarkets and Market Street West Texas have expanded their online presence through social networking tools like Facebook and Twitter. Daily updates allow shoppers to stay connected with store events as well as receive and pass along links to coupons, in-store specials and discounts.
“We’re going beyond our store aisles and reaching out to our guests with a new medium that brings added convenience and new ways to save,” said Randy Crimmins, vice president, marketing at United Supermarkets. “We’ve seen a great response from our guests and they seem to really enjoy taking advantage of all these new capabilities, and that’s a trend we’d like to continue.”
