MISSISSAUGUA, Ontario — Wal-Mart Canada here said it would extend hours in 175 stores, or nearly 60% of its locations, to meet demand created by the early Easter holiday. Easter is the No. 2 holiday for food spending and confectionary purchases and is the third-busiest shopping holiday of the year, Wal-Mart said. The March 23 date for Easter is the earliest the holiday has fallen in nearly 200 years.
