Weis Names 3 New District Managers

Weis Markets named three new district managers, including a leader for its newly acquired stores in Broome County, N.Y.

SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets here on Wednesday named three new district managers, including a leader for its newly acquired stores in Broome County, N.Y.

Mike Neal, the company's former district manager in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania, was named district manager for Weis' 11 Broome County stores.

Brian McAfee has succeeded Neal as Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania district manager, overseeing 17 stores in Wilkes-Barre, Bloomsburg and Sunbury. McAfee joined Weis in March from Price Chopper, where he managed its stores in the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre region.

Dave Fisher was promoted to district manager and will oversee 16 stores in Western Maryland and West Virginia. Fisher most recently served as a Center Store specialist for Weis.
