MATTHEWS, N.C. — Harris Teeter here has selected Zavers Networks, Kansas City, Kan., to add digital coupons to the retailer's e-VIC online loyalty and savings program.
E-VIC Coupons appear as a separate tab within the e-VIC consumer's weekly email from Harris Teeter. From that tab, the shopper clicks on the desired coupons and saves them in a Zavers-powered account. At the checkout, shoppers swipe their VIC loyalty card, causing the coupon amount to be automatically deducted from the bill and the savings printed on the receipt.
Harris Teeter's e-VIC online loyalty program is available on an opt-in basis for customers of its 202 stores. The program has experienced widespread adoption among Harris Teeter shoppers.
"Our shoppers know to expect ease and convenience as well as valuable savings from the e-VIC program," says Catherine Reuhl, communication specialist for Harris Teeter. "We're pleased to now offer them the next level of service, with a simple way to capture coupons and seamlessly use them at checkout. This enhancement was made possible by the Zavers platform and we look forward to reaching more customers through this program."
