Lunds launches 75th anniversary contest

Lund Food Holdings, Minneapolis, is celebrating its 75th anniversary by asking its customers and employees to submit and vote on their favorite stories relating to Lunds and Byerly’s.

Lund Food Holdings, Minneapolis, is celebrating its 75th anniversary by asking its customers and employees to submit and vote on their favorite stories relating to Lunds and Byerly’s.

Each week from April 28 to Aug. 31, Lunds will randomly draw the name of one customer and one employee who submitted their story to each receive a $75 Lunds and Byerly’s gift card. In addition, a $750 grand prize will be awarded to the customer and employee receiving the most votes. Second place is a $300 Lunds and Byerly’s gift card, and third place receives a $200 Lunds and Byerly’s gift card.

Lunds said it will also donate $7.50 to Second Harvest Heartland for each story it receives.

Lunds was founded in 1939 in Minneapolis, and now operates 24 stores in the region.
