Big Y to add three Big Y Express locations

Big Y has agreed to acquire the operating assets of three O’Connell Convenience Plus Stations in Massachusetts, which it will begin operating in late January and convert to its Big Y Express banner throughout the winter months.

Existing employees of the stations that are located in Hadley, Longmeadow and Wilbraham, Mass., will have the opportunity to apply and interview with Big Y.

There are currently two Big Y Express Gas and Convenience Stores in operation in Lee and Pittsfield, Mass. Big Y opened its first Big Y Express in partnership with FL Roberts two years ago in 2013 in Lee.
