Popular Korean grocer H Mart is opening a food court inside its existing Long Island City supermarket, according to reporting from Eater

Several stalls could open as early as April, followed by an expansion with additional food vendors this summer, Eater reports.

The Long Island location opened in 2022. H Mart has other food courts in New York City — the first, in Flushing, opened in 1989, and there’s a second location in Bayside, Queens. The food court planned for Long Island City will be the company’s biggest in the city so far.

H Mart, which was originally started in 1982 in Queens, has branded itself as “the largest Asian supermarket chain in America” and currently has over 97 stores across the U.S.
