Asian specialty grocer H Mart is adding several new stores to its growing brick-and-mortar footprint.

The Lyndhurst, New Jersey-based chain's website lists a new location coming soon to Brookline, Massachusetts. The new store, located at 1028 Beacon St., is now hiring for all positions.

H Mart is also reportedly looking to open a new store in West Jordan, Utah,  ABC 4 reported on Monday. The West Jordan store would be H Mart's first location in Utah, the retailer's website said.

In addition, H Mart is looking to expand in Texas, according to ABC 8. Earlier this week, ABC 8 reported that the Dallas City Council this month approved a “grant and tax incentives totaling $3.5 million to build an H Mart supermarket in the city’s northwest area that’s now officially known as Koreatown.” H Mart now operates six locations in Texas, the grocer’s website said.

Looking ahead, H Mart also has plans to open its first store in Las Vegas in 2024. The more than 54,552-square-foot store will be in the Sahara Pavilion South Shopping Center at 2620 S. Decatur Blvd.

“We enrich lives with our Asian heritage, food and culture," Brian Kwon, president of H Mart, said in a statement to WGB. “Carrying over from H Mart’s previous successes in the East Coast area, H Mart’s first branch in Las Vegas will be placed at Sahara Pavilion South shopping center. H Mart will become a place to experience the best of what communities have to offer, providing a convenient ‘one-stop shopping’ place for diverse cultures and to the neighborhood, where different ethnicities of friends and neighbors can come, gather and enjoy. Our main priority is always to serve and satisfy the needs of the surrounding communities.”

H Mart stores feature Asian groceries and housewares, fresh produce, meat and seafood, as well as food halls inside many of the locations. Established in New York in 1982 as Han Ah Reum (a Korean phrase meaning “arm full of groceries”), H Mart now operates over 75 stores in 14 states across the United States.
