Tops Friendly Markets on Wednesday revealed a $1 million renovation and rebranding of a former Wade's Market store in Farmington, N.Y.

Tops assumed operations of the Wade's store in November. The renovation includes all new decor and various aesthetic improvements, Tops said.

Tops upgraded the produce department with LED track lighting. Additionally, customers will also enjoy hundreds of new varieties of fruits and vegetables as well as an expanded natural and organic section.

“The completion of our store’s improvements is just one part of Tops’ commitment to the Farmington community,” Steve Elliott, store manager said. “Along with our commitment to our newest neighbors, we’re looking forward to offering our shoppers even more fresh foods and brands while saving them time and money.”

Tops executives, along with local community leaders, attended a grand opening ceremony during which more than than $2,000 in donations were presented to community-based organizations in Farmington.

The deli and bakery offer shoppers “even more fresh foods.”
