Whole Foods is seeking a brewmaster for a new store in Houston, according to online job postings.
The store would be the first in the chain to brew its own beer, according to the Houston Chronicle. The retailer said it was looking for a candidate with three years of brewing experience to design new beer recipes to be sold in stores and in bars. Whole Foods said the candidate would work closely with its specialty team to educate staff and store guests about brewing; participate in educational classes and tastings; lead brewery tours and represent the store in brewer meetings and festivals.
The store, located at a former Randalls site, is set to open this summer.
