Pathmark Rolling Out 12 Clinics; Meijer Adds Two
CARTERET, N.J. -- Pathmark Stores reported it has reached a license agreement with MiniMedCare, Chester, N.J., to locate a medical care clinic in its Weehawken, N.J., store.

CARTERET, N.J. -- Pathmark Stores reported it has reached a license agreement with MiniMedCare, Chester, N.J., to locate a medical care clinic in its Weehawken, N.J., store. The clinic will open in March and will be staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants. A second clinic, scheduled to open later this year, is planned for Pathmark‘s Jersey City store. Twelve MiniMedCare facilities will be operating in Pathmark's stores after a complete rollout, the companies said. Meanwhile, Early Solutions Clinic, McLean, Va., has reported that it will open two more clinics in stores of Meijer, Grand Rapids, Mich., in addition to the two it already operates. More are planned for Meijer stores in southeast Michigan, the clinic operator said. It was recently reported that Meijer would open 30 in-store clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio to be run by Affordable Basic Care, Southfield, Mich.
