SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Price Chopper is installing DVD rental kiosks from Redbox Automated Retail, Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., in 28 store locations, Price Chopper reported this week. Many of the new kiosks will be located in stores in the greater capital region of new York, the company said. Each kiosk holds 500 DVDs representing over 70 of the newest movie releases, with new titles available every Tuesday. Customers swipe a credit or debit card and may keep the DVDs for as long as they like for $1 per night plus tax. After 25 nights rental charges cease and the DVD is theirs to keep, with no late fees. Price Chopper currently operates over 100 stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
