Topco Associates recently recognized some of its member-owners for their performance at its annual membership conference.

Topco Associates recently recognized some of its member-owners for their performance at its annual membership conference. They include:

SpartanNash — Greatest Dollar Growth All Programs
“SpartanNash showed great success by utilizing Topco’s market and category expertise to grow own brand sales as well as joined Topco’s Aggregated Pharmacy Initiative,” said Topco in a release.

Affiliated Foods Midwest — Greatest Percentage Growth All Programs
The retailer was recognized for developing own brand programs such as Full Circle Market, Top Care and Buckley Farms.

Brookshire Holdings Markets — Greatest Dollar Growth Center Store
“Brookshire Markets’ Full Circle Market and Top Care end cap programs drove outstanding results in 2015,” according to Topco.

Associated Food Stores — Greatest Percentage Growth Center Store
The retailer dedicated a team to drive its private brand initiatives which resulted in significant center store growth, noted Topco.

Giant Eagle — Greatest Dollar Growth Fresh
Giant Eagle continued its participation in the produce program and expanded participation in Topco’s fresh meat program.

Stater Bros. — Greatest Percentage Growth Fresh
“Stater Bros. grew their total fresh purchases by leveraging Topco to source case-ready beef, branded meat and produce,” said Topco.

Weis Markets — Greatest Dollar Growth Value Add
“Weis Markets achieved outstanding dollar growth in Topco’s Pharmacy, Indirect Spend and National Brands programs,” said Topco.

Price Chopper — Overall Percentage Growth Value Add
“Price Chopper achieved best-in-class percentage growth across all three of Topco’s Value Add programs while leading pharmacy initiatives such as diabetes education, patient care programs and in-store clinics,” according to Topco.

K-VA-T Food Stores — Greatest Purchase Penetration
K-VA-T surpassed all members across all programs.

Hy-Vee — Highest Purchase Volume
“Hy-Vee, Inc. led all members in 2015 in overall purchases for the 11th consecutive year, by increasing purchases by over 11% versus last year,” Topco said.
