Walgreens has created a new private-label brand of more than 150 healthy food and beverage products, the company announced Tuesday.
The new product line, Nice! For You, is an addition to Walgreens’ Nice! brand, which was first launched in 2011.
The new brand includes items such as jerky, oatmeal, nuts and trail mixes, dried fruit, coffee, frozen food products, beverages, white cheddar cheese, dried cranberries, roasted pistachios, tart cherry juice, apple juice boxes, and more.
Walgreens said in a press release that products in the Nice! For You line are free of artificial flavors and sweeteners, synthetic dyes, and high-fructose corn syrup.
“According to recent research from Statista, nearly half of all Americans are trying to make better food choices,” Walgreens Chief Customer Officer Tracey Brown said in a press release. “The evolution of our Nice! brand is designed to offer an efficient, highly relevant customer experience that meets their changing needs and preferences, while maintaining our commitment to deliver high quality products that taste great at an incredible value.”
