Specialty retailer Sprouts Farmers Market is preparing to open four new stores. Three of the four new stores are located in Florida (Boca Raton, Orlando, and Delray Beach), and there will be one more in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The company’s 2022 environmental report mentioned its focus on employees, with 24% of team members promoted and 1,600 new jobs created through 16 new store openings. Three stores ready to open will require more than 250 new hires:

  • 75 employees are needed for the new Boca Raton, Fla., location; set to open on July 28

  • 92 employees are needed for the new Colorado Springs, Colo., location; set to open on Aug. 4

  • 95 employees are needed for the new Orlando, Fla., location; set to open on Aug. 4

In addition, the Delray Beach, Fla., location is scheduled to open on June 9.

Sprouts plans to hold in-person and virtual events ahead of the grand openings for each of its new locations, including hiring events for new employees.

Celebrations at the Delray Beach location will include store discounts, vendor sampling, prizes, and games. Sprouts is also working with local farmers like Alderman Farms, Santa Sweets, Wish Farms, and others in this location to source produce.

Headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz., Sprouts employs approximately 31,000 employees and operates more than 380 stores in 23 states across the U.S.
