Retailers simplify seafood prep with bake in bag items

Winn-Dixie, Buehler’s Fresh Foods and Hen House Market are creating simple seafood solutions for customers with create-your-own cook in bag offerings.

Winn-Dixie’s Seafood Made Easy allows customers to choose seafood, vegetables and five types of seasonings: Captain’s Bay, lemon butter, Cajun, and roasted garlic & onion butter. The bags cook for 3-4 minutes in the microwave or 15-30 minutes in the oven. Each costs $6.

With Buehler’s Ready. Chef. Go! line, bags come with seasoned salmon, shrimp, tilapia or chicken, or freshly cut vegetables.

Create, Take, & Bake Fresh Seafood Dinners at Hen House Market include a choice of seafood, vegetables and seasonings.
