Hy-Vee teases new cupcakes on social media

To build anticipation for its new line of gourmet cupcakes that debuted today, Hy-Vee posted photos on social media earlier this week asking customers to guess the flavors.

Many fans and followers chimed in to suggest flavor names and talk about how eager they were to try the cupcakes. “Whatever it is, it looks mouthwatering!” one customer said on Twitter.

Hy-Vee is also offering a free mini gourmet cupcake today.

According to the retailer’s website, the cupcake flavors include Chocolate Addiction, Raspberry Laced Vanilla, Peanut Butter Cup, Red Velvet, White Almond Wedding, Mocha Espresso, Confetti Birthday and Salted Turtle.

Hy-Vee also introduced new gourmet cookies in four varieties: Peanut Butter, Milk Chocolate & Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate, Cayenne & Caramel, Intense Dark Chocolate & Almond Espresso and Oatmeal, Greek Yogurt & Cranberry.
