Jungle Jim’s rolls out store brand soda

Jungle Jim’s has introduced a line of store brand carbonated soft drinks.

Jungle Jim’s International Market has introduced a line of store brand carbonated soft drinks.

Marketed under the Jungle Jim’s brand, the CSDs come in 10 flavors, including root beer, black cherry, cream and green apple, according to a post on the retailer's Facebook page.

The soda is already on the shelves in the retailer’s Fairfield, Ohio, store, and will soon be available in its Cincinnati unit.

In other beverage news, the retailer has launched the Jungle Jim's International Market Wine School.

The school hosts a series of four-class sessions for $50.

The next session starts May 4. Classes meet each Monday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the retailer’s cooking school.

The classes are designed to help new wine drinkers to learn more about wine. The first class in an introduction to wine tasting; second class, white/rose/sparkling wine; third, reds and dessert wines; and fourth, graduation and celebration.
