HOUSTON — H.E. Butt Grocery’s Central Market is promoting a new, exclusive wine: Bocelli Prosecco for $12.95 (regularly $14.95) through Tuesday.

Made by the family of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, the bubbly from Bocelli Family Wines wasn’t previously available in Texas.

“Make no mistake: this is not a celebrity brand,” writes efoodie editor Jennifer C. on Central Market’s “More, Please” blog. “Bocelli Family Wines has earned its reputation by producing estate-grown and bottled wines made in partnership with other top-quality growers. All fruit is meticulously sourced, verified and documented.”

Bocelli Prosecco is made in partnership with the Trevisiol Family, known as the “first family of Prosecco.”
