HOUSTON — A new flavor of craft ice cream called Rathbun Road is available exclusively at H.E. Butt Grocery’s Central Market.

The flavor is sold under High Road’s Chef’s Collection line of batch ice cream and sorbet, developed in collaboration with top chefs from around the country.

Chef Kent Rathbun, an Iron Chef America contestant and owner of the Abacus restaurant in Dallas, created Rathbun Road, which combines chocolate, cherries, almonds and brownie cookies, according to Central Market’s More, Please! blog.

“I combined two of my favorite things: The chocolate cherry cookies at Abacus and that wonderful Italian ice cream flavor,” said Rathbun in an interview on the blog.

High Road flavors available exclusively at Central Market also include Red Berries & Prosecco Sorbet, Aztec Chocolate & Caramel, Bourbon Burnt Sugar, Brown Butter Praline, Vanilla Fleur de Sel, Caffeine & Cacao and Mango, Chile, Lime Sorbet.
