Farm Fresh Reverses Roles of Bayne, Black

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Farm Fresh Supermarkets here, a division of Supervalu, Minneapolis, said it has made two internal organization changes, effective today. Scott Bayne, formerly senior vice president of operations, assumes the position of senior vice president of merchandising. He now oversees the planning and direction of all merchandising, procurement, pricing, sales and profits in perishable and mass departments in order to drive customer sales and increase company profits. Tab Black, formerly senior vice president of merchandising, assumes the position of senior vice president of operations. He now is responsible for all aspects of in-store service and daily conditions and operations, and also oversees wholesaler relationships and oversees expense controls.

Stater Bros. Markets Taps Frahm for New Position

COLTON, Calif. - Stater Bros. Markets here said George Frahm has been promoted to group senior vice president of administration, a new position. He will be responsible for human resources, labor relations, insurance, workers' compensation and safety. Frahm, who has been with Stater Bros. for 33 years, has been senior vice president of administration since 2001. He most recently was vice president of labor relations.
