Fresh & Easy Gauges Interest in Store Brands
Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets is collecting online feedback from its shoppers about its store brands.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets is collecting online feedback from its shoppers about its store brands.
“We use the results to help develop new products that everyone will enjoy,” says the retailer on its website.
This month's most popular item, with 16% of the votes is Fresh & Easy’s Spicy Jalapeno Hummus, 8-ounce, for $2.49, followed by Fresh & Easy Cinnamon & Sugar Pita Chips, 9-ounce, for $2.69 (15%), Fresh & Easy Gazpacho Soup, 1-pound 6-ounces, $2.49 (13%), and Fresh & Easy Big Pizza, 20 inches, $6.99 (12%).
Each week the chain also solicits opinions about items sampled during that week's in-store demos. Among the items being tasted through Aug. 4 are Fresh & Easy Olive Oil & Sea Salt pita chips; Fresh & Easy Cranberry Raspberry Juice and Fresh & Easy Artichoke Antipasto.
