EL SEGUNDO, Calif.— Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market's exclusive wines took home a total of 29 awards from the Los Angeles International Wine Competition and the San Francisco International Wine Competition.
Nearly 60 of the 170 wines sold at Fresh & Easy are exclusives, blended with the help of a master of wine. Fresh & Easy's New Zealand Pinot Noir and its La Parra Loca Tempranillo Shiraz won gold medals at the Los Angeles competition, while its Rene Florancy Premier Cru Champagne and Montcadi Rose Cava received double-gold honors at the San Francisco event.
"We are honored to have received these awards from such prestigious competitions," said Karen Fletcher, catgory manager of wine and beer for Fresh & Easy, in a statement. "Having strong relationships with our wineries helps us create high-quality wines that can be offered at incredible prices."
