HEINEKEN USA is setting the stage for summer celebrations with the release of its ‘Beers of Mexico’ variety pack. The ‘Beers of Mexico’ 12 and 24 packs, available this summer, contain equal quantities of Dos Equis L logo in a gray background | ager, Dos Equis Ambar, Tecate and Sol. These limited release packs provide adult consumers with the opportunity to experience four of HEINEKEN USA’s outstanding Mexican beers in one convenient collection and retailers the perfect pack to increase their Mexican beer sales throughout the summer. “There is a wide variety in style and flavor among the Mexican beers in our portfolio,” said Ryan Thompson, Brand Manager for Dos Equis & Sol. “The ‘Beers of Mexico’ variety pack gives consumers the opportunity to taste and serve the best that HEINEKEN USA and Mexico have to offer. This unique variety pack in 24-bottle format was very successful in large format stores in 2011. This year we are excited to offer a 12 pack format as well to allow for broader distribution across all retail channels.” The ‘Beers of Mexico’ variety pack includes the following brands and styles of Mexican beer: ·     Dos Equis Lager - fresh, crisp and golden lager-style beer ·     Dos Equis Ambar - a Vienna style amber lager with big, rich flavor. ·     Tecate - lager style brew with an aroma of malt and hops and a subtle, refreshing taste. ·     Sol - 'Mexican sunshine beer' with a fresh malty, lemony flavor and soft dry finish. “Summer is a huge selling season for Mexican beers,” added Thompson. “The ‘Beers of Mexico’ sampler provides retailers with the perfect pack to promote to their customers as their outdoor celebration solution.”
