IRVINE, Calif. -- Jan DeLyser, vice president of merchandising for the California Avocado Commission, recently received the Southern California Produce Achievement Award from the Fresh Produce and Floral Council. DeLyser was honored for more than 25 years of service to the industry, as well as nearly 14 years as chief executive of the FPFC. She has worked for the CAC for five years. In previous positions, DeLyser was marketing director for Sun World International and worked in produce sales at Westlake-Miller. Currently, she volunteers her leadership to the Produce for Better Health Foundation, Produce Marketing Association, United Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Association and the Buy California Marketing Agreement.
