ST. LOUIS — Value-oriented grocer Save-A-Lot is turning to its consumers to decide the name of one of its carbonated soft drinks.

The company is asking if Bubba Cola should retain its current brand name, or be called something else. Shoppers can vote on the Save-A-Lot website and state why they want the name changed.

“At Save-A-Lot we are always looking to improve our products and brands,” the Supervalu banner wrote in promotional materials. “Who better to ask than our loyal shoppers?”
