KEASBEY, N.J. — Prices of dozens of frequently purchased items are frozen through April 9 at Wakefern Food Corp.'s ShopRite.

“As gas and food commodity prices continue to rise, ShopRite will remain committed to helping families save money each week on their food bills,” ShopRite states online and in its circular.

Among the locked-in prices are Del Monte Pasta sauce, Libby’s fruit and Contadina tomatoes, 10 for $10; ShopRite mayonnaise, $1.99; and ShopRite white bread and French’s yellow mustard, 99 cents each.

Items are identified with red padlock symbol reading “Locked In Savings” in the store circular and on shelf tags.
