NEW YORK — Starbucks Corp. plans to tap Jacksonville, Fla.-based Acosta Sales & Marketing to help expand its distribution in supermarkets, the coffee retailer told investors at a conference here Wednesday.

As previously reported, Seattle-based Starbucks is seeking to exit its distribution agreement with Kraft Foods. Starbucks already has a limited marketing agreement with Acosta, but will look to the sales agency to help it develop additional product marketing and display ideas for the supermarket channel beginning next year.
