QUINCY, Mass. — Stop & Shop is lowering prices on more than 40 types of ice cream cones and toppings. The new price reductions are a continuation of the retailer’s “Low Prices Every Day” campaign, according to Andrea Astrachan, consumer advisor for Stop & Shop. To date, Stop & Shop has lowered prices on thousands of health and beauty care items, cookies and crackers, salad dressings, condiments, frozen foods, water, coffee, juices, cereal, pet foods and baby care products.
