QUINCY, Mass. — Stop & Shop has launched Small Victories, a custom publication geared to moms.

The premiere 16-page issue of the 6-by-8-inch booklet features articles including “How to Fill a Lunchbox So Kids will Empty It” and “Kid Activities That Free You Up.” The Fall 2009 issue also contains more than $14 in coupons, including a free package of Stop & Shop mini raisins, and $2 off two packages of Dole fruit bowls.

Stop & Shop consumer advisor Andrew Astrachan writes an editor’s column-type introduction. “We created small victories for you, for the same reason we do everything we do: to make a difference in our customers’ lives,” Astrachan writes. “It’s here to celebrate the little wins we moms love, and love to laugh about.”

A picture of Astrachan and her two sons accompanies the column. The magazine is published by Digitas & King Fish Media.
