Ralph's stores are a key division of the Kroger family of stores, which operate more than 2,600 grocery retail stores, under nearly two dozen banners, throughout the U.S. David Meniane, founder and CEO of Victoria's Kitchen, says, "Ralph's was the first grocery store I visited when I moved to the U.S. 15 years ago. I'm so excited to have our products be part of Kroger's expansion in the emerging beverage space. Ralph's has a fantastic selection of new age beverages and we are proud to be part of their product offering." Victoria's Kitchen Organic Ginger Lemonade is the company's modern interpretation of the traditional American beverage. With only nine-grams of organic fair-trade certified cane sugar per serving, it is certified organic and only has 35-calories per serving. With all organic ingredients including cold-pressed ginger and a hint of cayenne pepper, this beverage contains no flavors, additives or preservatives, company officials say. Meniane adds, "With this new beverage, we wanted to go 'clean label' but also all organic. We didn't try to go zero-calorie or replace the sugar with an alternative sweetener. We took the traditional lemonade and just cut the sugar content by 70%. It's that simple."
