Harris Teeter Consumers Decide What Goes on Sale

MATTHEWS, N.C. — Harris Teeter shoppers will decide which wine brand will go on sale tomorrow.

As part of a Facebook promotion, consumers can vote for Alamos or Cupcake malbec for $6.97. Only Harris Teeter's Facebook fans can vote, and only loyalty card holders can get the deal.

“YOU decide which wine goes on sale for $6.97,” Harris Teeter wrote in a Facebook post.

As of this morning, Cupcake appeared to be in the lead. Shoppers can vote via a Facebook app.
