Meijer Inc. broke ground on a dairy production facility in Tipp City, Ohio, this week that will produce milk, cottage cheese and yogurt.
The 105,000-square-foot dairy facility will be part of a 173,000-square-foot expansion. It will supply 100 stores in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
“Meijer is very pleased to continue our investment and growth in Ohio,” co-CEO Mark Murray said in a press release. “This expansion allows us to enhance our commitment to provide the freshest products for our customers, while growing our manufacturing capabilities and Meijer brand offerings.”
