CHICAGO -- The dairy, meat and poultry industries will convene for the first time under the umbrella of a single food industry event, the Worldwide Food Expo, scheduled to take place from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 at McCormick Place here.

e show will be divided into two halls, one for food and dairy and the other for meat and poultry.

Thirteen concurrent conferences are slated to feature more than 60 different educational sessions, covering such topics as global market trends, regulatory updates for dairy and thinking outside the milk box.

Entertainment and networking events during the show include the opening night reception and Saturday night dinner and musical gala.

The World Wide Food Expo is sponsored by the International Dairy Foods Association, Washington; the American Meat Institute, Arlington, Va.; the Dairy and Food Industries Supply Association, McLean, Va.; and the National Food Processors Association, Washington.
