Distributor opens first Harvest Natural Market

Harvest Natural Market — a retail operation from Atlas Group, a Houston-based natural food distributor — has opened its first store in Katy, Texas, with at least four more scheduled to open.

Harvest Natural Market — a retail operation from Atlas Group, a Houston-based natural food distributor — has opened its first store in Katy, Texas, with at least four more scheduled to open.

The second store is due to open in the fall in The Woodlands, followed by units in Pecan Grove, Richmond and Sugarland — all in the Houston area.

According to a press release, Harvest Natural Market specializes in organic and locally grown produce, natural grass-fed beef and fresh, sustainable seafood. The store also includes two restaurants: a full-service Bistro and Bar and a fast-service Harvest Express.

• The Cooking House, where professional chefs hold interactive cooking demonstrations.

• The Cook Station, where customer can get meat and seafood purchases cooked to order.

• The Chef’s Pick station, which offers prepared meals.

• An Italian Corner, where customers can consume selections from a pasta bar, patisseries and deli counter, plus frozen yogurt, gelato coffee and juices.
