Roche Bros. Rolling Out Deli Management System

Roche Bros. has begun rolling out the Modiv DeliVision deli management system following a pilot test in its Westwood, Mass., store and a second installation in its West Roxbury, Mass., location.

WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. — Roche Bros. here has begun rolling out the Modiv DeliVision deli management system following a pilot test in its Westwood, Mass., store and a second installation in its West Roxbury, Mass., location.

The system is designed to offer queue optimization, self-service kiosk ordering and targeted promotions delivery. Roche Bros. has featured promotions from several brands, including Dietz & Watson and Tribe Mediterranean Foods.

“We have been extremely impressed with DeliVision’s performance during the pilot at our Westwood location,” said Jeff Dineen, director of retail information systems, Roche Bros., in a statement.

Industrywide, the system is being used at nearly 400 stores in 10 states, including Stop & Shop, Giant Eagle, Giant Food and Ukrop’s Super Markets.
