A&P Names Knox to Head HR

MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P on Thursday made another senior level executive appointment from OfficeMax, naming Carter Knox senior vice president of human resources and communications.

Knox has more than 30 years of experience with retail management, including stints at Fred Meyer and OfficeMax, where he most recently served as senior vice president of human resources and worked alongside Sam Martin, A&P’s newly named chief executive officer, and Paul Hertz, who earlier this week was named senior vice president of operations at A&P.

At A&P, Knox will lead the human resources, labor relations, public relations and communications departments.
