Rom Kosla, an executive vice president, IT, and chief information officer for Ahold Delhaize USA is leaving the grocer for a position with Hewlett Packard Enterprises.

Kosla led the IT transformation for Ahold Delhaize and has been credited for improving technical and engineering capabilities within the organization.

His work included enabling enterprise-wide technologies to support U.S.-based associates and migrating key digital capabilities to make ecommerce customer expansion possible, which was key in Ahold Delhaize’s omnichannel growth ambition.

Ahold Delhaize has not released a press release about the move, but did send the following comment to Supermarket News:

“We appreciate Rom for his service to our organization and wish him all the best in the future.”
