Ahold USA Appoints Senior VP of Store Strategy & Execution

Ahold USA announced Nick Bertram has been appointed to the position of senior vice president of store strategy & execution, Ahold USA. In this role, which will be based in Carlisle, Bertram will lead the development, optimization and delivery of key operational support processes in partnership with Ahold USA’s retail divisions, as well as managing New Business Ventures. Bertram joins Ahold USA from Jewel-Osco, where he oversaw store operations across Illinois, Indiana and Iowa. Bertram served as senior vice president for Supervalu, and held other store operations positions of progressing responsibility with Walmart in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. “Nick brings years of solid retail operational experience and his expertise will be a valuable resource in our ongoing efforts to be a better place to shop,” says Bhavdeep Singh, executive vice president of operations.
